AUATON is a trade union, not a business built on data. This page sets out exactly what we collect and what we do with it. It is short because we do not collect much.
What we collect
- What you give us. If you fill in the form on this site, we collect your name, your phone number and your email address.
- What is collected automatically. Like every website, our server records your IP address, the pages you opened, and basic device information such as your browser type.
What we do with it
- Contact you about joining the union and respond when you ask for help.
- See which pages drivers actually use, so we can improve the site.
What we never do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not share it with e-hailing companies, aggregators or employers.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
- We share information outside AUATON only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your membership details while you are with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server logs are kept briefly, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [contact address to be added] and we will act on it. You do not need to give a reason.
